Nur Syarif Ramadhan

Hi! I am Syarif, a blind man caused by cataracts that I had when I was three months old. I studied Civics Education at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Makassar State University. I also did a short course program at the Auckland University of Technology for 6 months and learned about Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2017, I have been working for the Indonesian Disability Movement for Equality (PerDIK). Since 2018, I have also been a contributor to solider.id, an online news portal that has concerns on disability issues in Indonesia. I have written a lot on topics related to inclusive education and public policy with a disability perspective, as well as other topics that voice the importance of involving persons with disabilities in various sectors. I am grateful to be a part of Green Network and have the opportunity to channel my mission for inclusiveness, especially to support difable communities. In my spare time, I like to play chess, read books with the help of a screen reader, or listen to sports competitions such as football, badminton, and the MotoGP championship.
